Nanu’s 3rd Annual Bike Fest
We’ve all heard that old saying “third times a charm.” Well, after having to reschedule two previously planned dates due to unfavorable forecasts thanks for Mother Nature, the third time proved to indeed be a charm for Nanu’s 3rd Annual Bike Fest in Colonial Beach Dragway, Colonial Beach, VA.
Several vendors were on hand including Extreme Motorsports and Speed and Strength. In addition to the vendors, there was entertainment, a bike contest and a seductive sexy Twerk contest. On the track, there was plenty of race action going on. The big trackside event, however, was who could take down Throttle Life’s very own Clutch Girl Crystal Dickerson of Crystal Dickerson Racing for a $1000 bounty. After holding strong for three rounds, Crystal was finally defeated in round four by Jeff Ford Sr. of SNG Racing due to spinning at the line. A big congratulations to Jeff on a well run race who now has that bounty hanging over his head.
Congrats are also in order for all the winners in the various classes and to Crystal Dickerson who is a 2 time winner in the 5.60 class. We also want to give a big shout out to Darion Payne for his determination and persistence to bring a quality event to the people and to all those who contributed in making the event an annual success.
