IDBL WPGC Bike Fest
Once again Maryland International Raceway and the IDBL hosted the annual WPGC 95.5 for a hot weekend of racing and entertainment including DC’s own legenday trend-setting go-go band Rare Esscence along with icon DJ Kool. The ladies of Paint the 1/4 Pink continued the tradition of supporting Bikers again Breast Cancer with news coverage from NBC Washington.
As with all forms of racing there is an inherent risk of danger. Unfortunately this year one of the circuit’s most well known racers Shayne Proctor experienced but thankfully survived a horrofic accident with his bike bursting into a fiere ball as he was making a pass. Kudos to the staff at track for their quick reaction in attending to Shayne as we truly wish him a healthy recovery.
