16th Annual Kingdom Square Father’s Day Bike and Car show
Celebrating Father’s Day is more than just grilling or checking out a ball game. For the past 16 years The Sanctuary at Kingdom Square co-sponsored by the Kingdom Knights Motorcycle Ministry has held their annual Father’s Day Car and Bike Show. Given the fact that I’m a car and motorcycle fanatic, I couldn’t wait to attend with showing off Automotive Rhythms’ long-term 2013 Volvo S60 R-Design along with covering for Throttle Life.
The level of participation in this event has grown immensely over the years. Many classics covered the parking lot as well as new sports cars. Not to be out done by the cars, some of the DMV’s top sport bikes and baggers were also out in full force.
The scene comprised of music, games and vendors to keep the excitement level high. Additionally, there was an award ceremony for the top autos and bikes that wowed the judges. I really enjoy these family oriented shows because it gives provides a chance to reconnect with the people that keep the motorcycle and automotive industries alive, the enthusiasts that are always looking for new and creative way to show off their pride and joy.
Good times were had by all indeed.
