Fast & Furious 6: DC Premiere & Car Show
Throttle Life was honored to have partnered with Automotive Rhythms for the Washington DC premiere of Universal Studio’s Fast and Furious 6.
Audiences were taken on a fast paced ride from the onset of Fast & Furious 6 as the opening scene featured an epic battle between friends along the coastline of the Canary Islands with Dom’s Challenger taking on Brian’s GT-R, also known as Godzilla to the supercar’s fanatical followers. So it only made sense for Automotive Rhythms to showcase a cadre of the soon-to-be blockbuster’s shining stars to the DC, Maryland and Virginia metro market for the premiere at the Regal Majestic Stadium 20 & IMAX in Downtown Silver Spring, MD.
The automotive spectacle put smiles on kid’s faces and brought gratitude to fans and followers of the Fast 6 series who won show tickets, posters, Meguiar’s car kits and Fast 6 and Automotive Rhythms’ t-shirts. On display was the new Aston Martin Vanquish, Dodge Viper, Dodge Challenger, Dodger Charger, Nissan GT-R, custom Nissan Z, Volvo S60 R-Design, Lexus IS-F, custom Boss Mustang and two highly-specialized Yamaha R1s built by Krystos Efantis of MSP Racing. Yet, Godzilla and its 3.8-liter Twin Turbo V6 ran away with the crowd’s attention span.
