2015 Timonium Motorcycle Show – The Big One

Maryland State Fairgrounds played host to one of the largest motorcycle shows on the east coast, the Timonium Motorcycle Show aka the Big One.

New this year was the “Travel, Touring & Adventure” area as this facet is a key element in our lives. An added feature, the show provided a meet and greet with some of the most noted and passionate motorcycle adventurists in the world such as Benka Pulko, Lisa & Simon Thomas, Lois Pryce, Rene Cormier, Allan Karl and many more.

In addition to the motorcycles, the show also offered meet and greets with celebrities such as American Thunder’s Michele Smith and World Speed Record Powered Street Luger, Roland Morrison and custom builder Brian Kundratic, from Kundratic Kustom Motorcycles. You could even find industry heavy heights MyrtleWestCycle and Garwood Custom Cycles from down south showing off their show-stoppers along with 2014 Best of Show winner Lakeisha Malonado all representing the sportbike population extremely well.

As the art culture is becoming more of a driving force into everyday life, it was a treat to see the renowned motorcycle artist David Uhl Studios with his custom pieces while creating new master pieces live on-site. Guests were also treated to the lovely sites of the International Bikini Team from the crew at Thunder Roads Magazine Md-Del-DC.

As you know, we never leave the fans and supporters empty handed. With the support of a few of our sponsors and thanks to Automotive Rhythms, we were able to provide giveaways to the shows attendees, leaving smiles and good vibes to the lucky recipients. Mothers Car Care supplied us with products geared to motorcycles, and proved to be a hit with the patrons. Shoe City came in strong with swag bags complete with beanies, water bottles and coupons along with coveted #ShoeCity gift cards. And we can’t forget #Bose who so graciously provided high-end headphones or Milcah The Queen who kept a crowd in our area with her breathtaking personality and looks — even our booth neighbor commented she helped to generate a crowd and business for him as well.

As this year’s Big One has come to a close, in conjunction with the show’s staff we’re already setting our sights on 2016. Stay tuned for updates as I can assure you it will bring back those metric glory days. For more photos, be sure to check us out on our Facebook page ThrottleLife
